Location: South UK Region (Hybrid – 3–4 days per week on the road)

Role Purpose:
We’re looking for an energetic, tenacious and design-passionate individual to help accelerate our growth across the South UK region. As Business Development Manager, you’ll be regularly out on the road meeting with KBB showrooms, designers, and specifiers – showcasing our collections, delivering product training, and building client partnerships.

Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities:
• Grow our customer base in the region by targeting and developing relationships within the KBB showroom sector
• Champion the Hendel & Hendel brand through face-to-face meetings, events, and product storytelling
• Deliver engaging, hands-on product training sessions for showroom teams and designers
• Identify new opportunities, and convert leads into long-term partners
Key Tasks & Activities:
• Plan and manage weekly travel schedule across your territory, balancing prospecting and client visits
• Meet with showroom managers, designers, and specifiers to introduce collections and share our brand story
• Track all activity, leads and project conversations through our CRM system
• Provide tailored advice and product solutions to meet client needs and design briefs
• Gather and report on market insights to help shape our offering and outreach strategy
• Attend relevant industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to grow brand visibility
• Work closely with internal teams to exceptional client experience
Required Competencies and Skills:
• Proven experience in a field-based sales, business development, or client-facing role
• A natural relationship builder with strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own diary and travel plans
• Passion for design-led products, with a keen eye for detail and quality
• Comfortable working with CRM tools and reporting systems
• Resilient, energetic, and tenacious – with a solutions-focused mindset
• Confident delivering product demonstrations and training sessions
Other Information:
This is a hybrid role based in the South of the UK, with 3–4 days per week expected on the road meeting clients and prospects. Occasional travel to our Lincoln HQ and London Studio will be required for team meetings, training, and collaboration.
There will also be opportunities to attend and represent the brand at trade shows and industry events.
