The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer or Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join a well-established and growing residential property team. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys residential conveyancing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in guiding clients through one of the most significant transactions of their lives. You will be joining a supportive and professional team that values quality work, strong client relationships, and exceptional service standards

Whether working remotely or on a hybrid basis, you will be empowered to manage your own caseload while contributing to the continued success and growth of the department

The role

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of traditional residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the transaction process

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to comp
  • Delivering high levels of client care, communication and responsiveness
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Achieving agreed billing, gross profit and cash recovery
  • Managing file finances in accordance with agreed write-off parameters
  • Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in accordance with internal procedures and service standards
  • Maintaining accurate client and matter records through the firm’s case management systems
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations
  • Contributing positively to the growth and success of the residential property department
  • Maintaining a commitment to ongoing professional development

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE
  • Have strong experience managing a traditional residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for residential property work
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess strong client care and relationship-building skills
  • Be commercially aware and comfortable working towards performance targets
  • Have a proactive and solutions-focused approach to their work
  • Be committed to delivering a consistently high standard of service
