NQ Private Client Solicitor

Location: Greater Manchester/Lancashire Area – Office Based

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 DOE

A well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit an NQ Solicitor to join its busy Wills & Probate department

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor looking to build their private client experience, take on responsibility, and develop within a supportive and fast-paced team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.
  • Take instructions from clients on Wills, LPAs and related matters.
  • Draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and supporting documents.
  • Progress estate administration matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Prepare and submit probate-related applications and supporting documentation.
  • Provide clear, professional and compassionate advice to clients.
  • Attend client meetings, including off-site visits where required.
  • Maintain accurate files and update the case management system.
  • Provide a professional, friendly and client-focused service.

Essential Requirements:

  • NQ Solicitor with experience in Private Client, Wills & Probate work.
  • Good technical knowledge of Wills, LPAs and Estate Administration.
  • Interest in becoming STEP qualified would be beneficial.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Confident communication and client care skills.
  • Full driving license and access to a car is preferable.
