We are looking for an Estimator to join our Commercial team at Allison Homes, helping to shape and deliver the homes and communities of the future.

About the role
As an Estimator, you will support the full development lifecycle, from early land appraisal through to pre-construction and procurement. You will provide accurate and commercially robust cost information that supports confident decision-making and successful project delivery.
You will work closely with colleagues across Land, Technical and Construction, helping to identify risks, unlock opportunities and drive best value solutions in everything we do.
Key areas of focus include:
- Supporting land appraisals and development budgets
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Managing cost data, benchmarking and reporting
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor tendering
- Driving value engineering and cost-effective solutions across developments
What we are looking for
We are keen to hear from commercially minded individuals with experience in estimating or cost management within housebuilding or construction.
You will bring:
- Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills
- The ability to prepare and manage cost plans and budgets
- Knowledge of construction methods and residential development
- A collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail and drive for improvement
