Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on a variety of HGVs, including trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Carry out inspections and MOT preparations to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Assist with vehicle breakdowns and emergencies as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV/PSV mechanic or a similar role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent qualification).
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid HGV/PSV licence is a plus.
- Must be a UK resident and be eligible to work in the UK.
