The role will be approximately 70% of your time on Odeon, who are parented by AMC but very much autonomous as a business unit with operations across Europe.
Key projects will include leading planning and implementation within the team, managing a direct report, being a key person of contact the central and local clients, and working closely with the strategic lead to deploy innovative GTM approaches for brand, loyalty and movie titles across Europe. Reporting into the Account Director, you will partner with multiple disciplines and capabilities within OMD EMEA and OMG to propose and world-class planning and implementation for the account while strengthening our overall partnership across the entirety of the Odeon Cinemas Group.
The remaining 30% will be across Crunchyroll – a global streaming service specialising in Anime – where we have a central planning and buying remit across UK, DE & FR with potential for expansion to other EMEA markets. Our focus is on growing awareness for new releases on the Crunchyroll SVOD platform, as well and growing broader awareness for the Crunchyroll brand as the go-to SVOD destination for Anime on demand. The individual would be responsible for evaluating and assembling media plans across channels (digital and OOH), ensuring swift activation of media via the creation of creative asset trackers and working with both the clients and relevant partners to set media live & overseeing reporting collation and providing analysis to this which is communicated to the clients. The manager role would be a primary contact for all client communications.
On the candidate:
• You will have a number of years’ experience in communications – with proven expertise in delivering against campaign objectives and broader agency and relationship KPIs.
• You must have experience of managing people, and you should be very comfortable managing relationships with senior clients and colleagues.
• You will ideally have some experience working closely with performance and activation teams
• You will ideally have some experience with an internal finance process / managing bookings
• You will ideally have experience working with local markets
