Location: Hitchin (based in office with site travel where necessary)

Salary: Up to £85,000 + package

You’ll work directly with the Commercial Manager, gaining exposure that larger firms simply can’t offer.

The role

• Manage commercial delivery of M&E projects across multiple sectors
• Take ownership from pre-contract through to final account
• Work closely with the Commercial Manager on strategy, risk, and growth
• Support or lead procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, and variations
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Input into improving processes as the business continues to expand

What they’re looking for

• Experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical packages
• Confident managing projects commercially end-to-end
• Ambitious mindset – keen to progress into a Senior QS position (if not already there)
• Comfortable working in a growing, evolving business environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
