The business are ideally looking at someone from an engineering background, but has an idea of continuous improvement as they’re happy to teach the right person the CI and projects side of things.
Working as part of a newly formed team which is focusing solely on the continuous improvements, you will use data analysis, engineering knowledge, and CI methodologies to identify losses, improve processes, and deliver sustainable improvements across safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
This role will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and CI teams to solve problems, implement improvements, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement projects to improve production performance and reduce losses
- Analyse OEE, downtime, waste, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities
- Drive structured problem solving using tools
- Work with engineering and production teams to implement sustainable solutions
- Develop and maintain CI dashboards, performance reporting, and visual management systems
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, and standardisation activities across operations
- Facilitate improvement workshops and engage teams in CI initiatives
- Track improvement actions, benefits, and long-term sustainability
If you’re a proactive and analytical improvement professional with experience in manufacturing environments. You enjoy solving problems, working with data, and delivering practical solutions that create measurable results.
You are confident working with teams across different functions and have the ability to influence, challenge, and support improvements at all levels.
Essential Experience:
- Experience delivering continuous improvement activity within manufacturing
- Engineering background and experience – NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving techniques
- Ability to analyse performance data and identify improvement opportunities
- Strong IT skills including Excel and CI reporting tools
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and operational KPIs
