We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing, highly reputable foodservice wholesaler with a strong heritage of supplying the hospitality and catering sector. This is a business built on genuine relationships, a strong service culture, and the agility of a true independent.
This is a pure new business role — ideal for a hunter who gets a real buzz from prospecting, opening doors, and turning a cold lead into a long-term customer.
The role
You’ll own new business development across a defined Hampshire territory — identifying prospects, building a pipeline, engaging decision-makers, and converting opportunities into active, loyal accounts. You’ll work closely with an experienced internal team to ensure every new customer gets a smooth, positive start.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in field sales or business development
- A genuine new business hunter mindset
- Confidence in prospecting and approaching new customers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Resilience, determination, and a positive approach
- Experience in foodservice, FMCG, hospitality or catering supply is an advantage
