Lead Mechanical Engineer
We’re supporting an innovative technology company developing ruggedised hardware, they’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of mechanical design, product reliability and environmental performance across a growing portfolio of advanced hardware products.
From concept development through to field deployment, you’ll lead the design of hardware that must withstand extreme temperatures, mechanical stress and demanding real-world operating conditions. You will Lead the mechanical design and development of advanced hardware products, Driving material selection, sealing strategies, structural design and reliability engineering.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Industry experience developing hardware products
✔ Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Siemens NX or equivalent)
✔ Experience delivering products from concept through to manufacture
✔ Strong understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly
✔ Hands-on prototyping, testing and product development experience
✔ Comfortable working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
