This is a critical position within the Foodservice & Specialist Drinks division. A role focused on unlocking growth, building stronger buying group relationships, and driving distribution across key customers and emerging channels.

The role…

You’ll manage an existing portfolio of development accounts — but this isn’t account management in the traditional sense.

These are accounts with untapped potential. Foodservice wholesalers. Specialist health wholesalers. Occasion-led sellers like hampers and corporate gifting. Your job is to unlock them.

Alongside that, you’ll work closely with the NAM Foodservice to strengthen relationships across key national buying groups, opening doors, identifying opportunities and creating commercial momentum.

Day to day looks like this:

  • Owning and developing a portfolio of customers with genuine growth potential
  • Building networks across buying groups and stakeholder contacts that open doors
  • Identifying new business opportunities aligned to company growth objectives
  • Conducting customer reviews and competitor analysis to sharpen strategy
  • Creating and executing sales plans that increase market share and visibility
  • Negotiating commercial terms where needed
  • Leading bespoke projects across foodservice, on trade and specialist channels
  • Tracking performance, forecasts and KPIs across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles
  • Representing the business at trade shows, industry events and networking opportunities

This is a role for someone who can spot opportunity before it lands on a spreadsheet.

Someone who understands routes to market. Who knows how buying groups operate. Who gets the complexity of foodservice and on-trade, and knows how to navigate it.

It’s commercial. It’s strategic. It’s relationship-led.

And when it’s done well, it drives serious growth.

Who are you?

You’ve got experience in drinks or food led FMCG, ideally across Foodservice, On Trade or specialist wholesale. You know the market. You understand supply routes. Existing relationships are a bonus, but the ability to build new ones matters more.

You’ve delivered growth. Built trust. Opened doors. Created momentum.

You’re commercially sharp, comfortable with negotiation and confident working across multiple stakeholders. You can think strategically, act quickly and adapt when things change.
