Senior Support Administrator
Location: Northampton (Kettering)
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Senior Business Support Administrator to join a growing and fast-paced organisation based in Northampton.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys taking ownership of administrative processes, supporting multiple areas of the business, and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations.
Working closely with senior management, sales teams, and operational departments, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating business-critical processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting client administration, and delivering exceptional organisational support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level administrative support across sales, operations, and business support functions.
- Manage the end-to-end administration of client applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and processed efficiently.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, client databases, and internal records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Support the sales team with proposal preparation, reporting, client correspondence, and ongoing account administration.
- Produce detailed reports, management information, and business performance data using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate client onboarding activities and assist with the smooth progression of applications through the sales process.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Manage diaries, meetings, appointments, and administrative requirements for senior management.
- Maintain organised filing systems and ensure all documentation is stored in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with operational projects and business improvement initiatives.
- Act as a key point of contact across the business, supporting multiple departments and helping to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support onboarding administration for new starters and assist with wider office management responsibilities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior administrative team members where required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a Finance Brokerage
- Strong understanding of business administration processes and documentation management.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of key responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
