Whether you’ve recently completed your apprenticeship or have gained your first few years of industry experience, this is an opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team where you’ll continue learning every day.
You’ll work with experienced engineers, receive specialist training, and develop your skills across a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment, from DC through to microwave technologies.

What you’ll be doing
No two days are quite the same. You’ll become part of a supportive Calibration & Maintenance team responsible for keeping sophisticated electronic test equipment operating at its best.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Calibrating electronic test and measuring equipment
- Maintaining and repairing specialist electronic test systems
- Diagnosing faults down to component level where appropriate
- Following engineering drawings, technical manuals and specifications
- Recording maintenance and calibration activities accurately
- Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Supporting quality and safety standards across all activities
What we’re looking for
Essential qualifications
You must hold all of the following:
- Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or Level 3 Standard)
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing academic qualification (ONC, Diploma or equivalent)
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing vocational qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
We’d also like to see
- Some experience calibrating electronic test equipment
- Basic maintenance or repair experience on electronic systems
- The ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong analytical and fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of calibration principles
- A positive attitude towards quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Someone who enjoys learning and developing their technical skills
