Job Title: Commercial Insurance Broker
Location: Cheltenham (hybrid in office 2-3 days)
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000

Role Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join a growing team managing a portfolio of mid-market and corporate clients. Working across a broad range of sectors, you will take ownership of complex insurance programmes, provide strategic advice to clients, and oversee placements from initial presentation through to renewal.
The role offers exposure to larger commercial accounts, multinational risks and complex insurance structures, making it ideal for an individual looking to further develop their technical expertise and client management capabilities within a progressive brokerage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients, becoming a trusted adviser on risk and insurance matters.
• Structure and place complex insurance programmes, ensuring clients receive appropriate and competitive coverage solutions.
• Conduct client reviews, renewal discussions and risk assessments to identify opportunities for programme enhancement.
• Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Manage the full client lifecycle, from placement through to renewal and ongoing servicing.
• Collaborate with colleagues across broking, support and business development functions to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Requirements:
• Strong commercial insurance broking experience.
• Experience managing larger commercial or corporate insurance programmes.
• Broad technical knowledge across commercial insurance classes.
• Exposure to multinational risks or complex insurance placements would be advantageous.
• Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining high service standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Progress towards or completion of CII qualifications would be beneficial.
