JOB – Electrical Design Engineer

LOCATION – Ipswich

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £32,000 – £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• 3 or more years’ Electrical Design experience
• Skilled with the use of AutoCAD Electrical
• Ideally some experience in Controls/Automation
• Understanding of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs would be beneficial
• Knowledge of electrical machine wiring and panel building
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

• Designing control panels for automation machinery
• Delivering projects to meet technical specifications and tight deadlines
• Working within a team to develop design processes
• Understanding electrical safety standards
