IT Support Engineer
Hammersmith, London (5 Days Onsite)
£40,000 – £45,000
I’m currently supporting a well-established technology-driven organisation that is looking to add an IT Engineer to its growing IT team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in IT who wants to develop their skills in a hands-on environment, working closely with experienced infrastructure professionals and gaining exposure to both Linux and Windows systems.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support across the business, helping to keep users productive and systems running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Building, configuring, and deploying PCs and laptops
- Supporting printers, peripherals, and office technology
- Assisting with user account administration and system access
- Working within a predominantly Linux environment with some Windows support
- Supporting infrastructure projects as your skills develop
About You
- Passionate about technology and eager to learn
- Basic understanding of Linux and Windows environments
- Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Happy working onsite five days per week in Hammersmith
