Our client is a globally recognised engineering business specialising in high-performance, precision-engineered components for the aerospace and automotive sectors. Supplying major OEMs, they operate in highly regulated, safety-critical environments where quality, traceability, and compliance are essential.

With a strong heritage in advanced manufacturing and adherence to standards such as IATF 16949 and AS9100, the business continues to grow through investment in technology, people, and new-generation programmes.

As part of this expansion, they are seeking an experienced quality leader for a key UK manufacturing site.

Role – Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will lead and develop the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with automotive and aerospace standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Acting as the site’s Quality Champion and Management Representative, you will drive a culture of quality, right-first-time performance, and audit readiness, with full accountability for product conformance and compliance.

You will work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to ensure quality-led improvements align with broader operational excellence and sector-specific requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role
  • Experience in aerospace and/or automotive manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or AS9100
  • Proficient in core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, 8D/RCCA)
  • Experience leading audits and quality teams in regulated environments
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
