About the Rol

eWe are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to support a major engineering programme, working closely with the Project Chief Engineer to ensure the technical integrity of the full system and its subsystems. You will lead architecture development, integration activities, and supplier engagement throughout the project lifecycle

.Key Responsibiliti

• esTechnical Leadership — Work with the Project Chief Engineer to identify and resolve system‑level issue
• s.Deputising — Act as deputy for the Project Chief Engineer when require
• d.Architecture Ownership — Lead the architecture team in developing and documenting system architectur
• e.Subsystem Integration — Lead integration activities across all subsystem
• s.Supplier Management — Engage with technical suppliers to ensure alignment and deliver
• y.Requirements Influence — Shape requirements to support design decisions and trade‑off
• s.Risk & Opportunity Management — Provide direction on technical risks and opportunitie
• s.Verification & Test Support — Support test planning and verification for certification and deliver
• y.Stakeholder Engagement — Influence key stakeholders, including customers and end user
• s.Design Review Support — Support subsystem teams through design review
• s.Travel — UK and international travel to customers and partner
