Private Client Solicitor (0–2 PQE)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Private Client Solicitor (0–2 years’ PQE) to join our established and growing team based in Redhill.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or a solicitor with up to two years’ post-qualification experience to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with experienced practitioners on a broad range of private client matters while building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney
  • Assisting with estate administration and probate matters
  • Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning issues
  • Supporting senior colleagues on complex trust and succession planning matters
  • Managing your own caseload under appropriate supervision
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Participating in business development and networking activities

About You

You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with between 0 and 2 years’ PQE in private client work.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong technical knowledge of private client law
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A compassionate and professional approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in private client law

Experience of working with high-net-worth clients or knowledge of trusts and tax planning would be advantageous but is not essential.
