Continental Alloys & Services Ltd are a leading supplier of steel products and precision sub-contract engineering services to the global energy industry.
Based primarily in our Peterhead site with some customer site visits and home working also if required .
We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team and help drive sales growth.
Ideally previous experience in a machine shop or steel sales background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and providing technical support to customers. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products we offer.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and establish new and existing customer relationships
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
- Prepare and process quotations and orders
- Develop sales plans and strategies to increase sales.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to close.
- Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a machine shop or steel sales background
- Knowledge of oilfield steel grades advantageous.
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Sales & customer service experience
- Clear and confident phone manner
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize and use your own initiative
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Problem solving & working within a team
- Computer literate
- Ability to retain information
- Eye for detail
