Project Manager – Facilities Management (M&E)
Location: Loughton, Essex
Salary: £75,000 – £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established Building Services and Facilities Management contractor delivering Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric projects across London and the South East.
Operating across commercial offices, healthcare, education, retail, public sector and critical environments, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering planned lifecycle works, CAT A & CAT B fit-outs, refurbishment projects and reactive capital works for a prestigious portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Mechanical and Electrical projects across commercial and Facilities Management environments.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring programme, cost and quality objectives are achieved.
- Lead engineers, site managers, supervisors and specialist subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, including procurement and resource planning.
- Monitor project budgets, variations and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
- Chair client, design and progress meetings, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Coordinate commissioning, testing, QA inspections, snagging and final handovers.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and company procedures.
- Produce regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
About You
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within Facilities Management or Building Services.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme management skills.
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management experience.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
