Role Description

Required for an immediate start with long-term career opportunities, we’re looking for an experienced Offshore Crane Service Engineer with strong expertise in Kingpost Cranes to join a growing offshore services team.

You’ll play a key role in inspecting, maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing critical lifting equipment on offshore installations and vessels—keeping operations running efficiently in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair of kingpost cranes
• Diagnosing faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Working on slew systems, Kingposts, winches, gearboxes, and control systems
• Performing load testing, commissioning, and certification support
• Delivering planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown support
• Producing clear technical reports and service documentation
• Supporting crane upgrades, installations, and refurbishments
• Ensuring compliance with API, LOLER, and other offshore safety standards

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid offshore certs:
• BOSIET / FOET
• MIST
• OGUK Medical
• LEEA qualifications (desirable)
• API RP2D qualifications (desirable)
• Full passport & willingness to travel
