Job Description:

HYNEDALE LIMITED represents Sleek, a hair fashion brand established in 1989, supplying wigs, hair extensions, ponytails, and beauty products to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors across the UK and international markets.

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Sales Executive to help grow our customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and drive sales performance across multiple channels.

This is a hands-on role combining business development, account management, customer support, and sales operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development

  • Identify and approach new retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and trade customers.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through phone calls, customer visits, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Convert leads into long-term customers.

Account Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and product penetration.
  • Support customers with product recommendations, promotions, and new launches.

Sales & Customer Operations

  • Follow customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
  • Work closely with customer service and operations teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Ensure customer enquiries, complaints, and requests are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor customer activity, repeat purchases, and account performance.

Credit Control & Account Monitoring

  • Support the management of customer credit limits and outstanding balances.
  • Follow up overdue payments when required.
  • Escalate potential account risks to management.

Market Intelligence

  • Gather competitor information, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Provide regular insights on customer needs, product opportunities, and industry developments.
  • Support product launches and promotional activities.

Events & Trade Shows

  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry exhibitions.
  • Assist with customer presentations and product demonstrations.

RequirementsEssential

  • Previous experience in sales, account management, customer service, or business development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident speaking with customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Results-driven with a proactive approach to generating sales.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for customer visits.

Preferred

  • Experience within hair, beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, wholesale, retail, or related industries.
  • Experience working with B2B customers.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Excel.
