THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Clinical Fellow in IVF and Reproductive Medicine to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with experience in fertility, reproductive medicine or obstetrics and gynaecology who is looking to further develop their career within a leading fertility organisation.

Working alongside experienced Consultants and multidisciplinary teams, you will gain valuable exposure to all aspects of fertility care while playing an important role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

The role offers the opportunity to further develop procedural skills, contribute to research and audit activities and gain experience within a busy and progressive fertility environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Supporting the clinical management of fertility patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Conducting consultations and transvaginal ultrasound assessments
  • Performing fertility procedures including egg collections and embryo transfers, appropriate to your level of competency and training
  • Working closely with Consultants, embryologists, nurses and operational teams to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Participating in weekend, bank holiday and on-call rotas
  • Contributing to clinical governance, audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participating in research, teaching and service development activities
  • Ensuring compliance with HFEA and all relevant regulatory standards
  • Supporting patient education and engagement events where required

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this position, you must already hold:

  • A recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise in the UK
  • Completion of Foundation Training (FY1 and FY2) or equivalent
  • Previous experience within reproductive medicine, IVF or obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Competency in transvaginal ultrasound scanning or a willingness to further develop these skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience performing egg collections and embryo transfers would be advantageous, although candidates who are actively developing these skills are encouraged to apply.
  • You will be a clinician who is passionate about reproductive medicine, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and motivated to continue developing your clinical expertise within fertility.
