Requirement Due to increasing growth this year, Plus15 are looking for a skilled Senior/ Project AV engineer to join our team. This role involves a mix of hands-on installation & commissioning and you’ll be working closely with our project managers to lead AV installations ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Audio Visual Lead Engineer / Project Engineer based in East Bridgford, with flexibility to work from home for certain tasks. The Audio Visual Lead Engineer / Project Engineer will oversee the end-to-end delivery of AV projects, including system design, technical specification, and project documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting client requirements, producing system schematics, rack layouts, and cable schedules, and selecting appropriate AV, control, and network equipment. The role involves coordinating site surveys, managing installation activities, providing technical leadership to field engineers, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards. The engineer will also support system commissioning, testing, fault diagnosis, and handover, and may assist with user training, post-installation support, and collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors.

Skills & Experience
- Strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with experience designing and delivering integrated audio visual systems.
- Proven Project Management and Project Planning abilities, including scheduling, resource coordination, and managing project risks and dependencies.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Hands-on experience with AV system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting across displays, projection, audio, control systems, and networking.
- Proficiency with AV design and documentation tools (e.g., CAD or similar), and familiarity with AV over IP, signal distribution, and control protocols.
- Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Audio Visual Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a hybrid on-site and remote working environment.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
