Health and Safety Advisor – £45,000-£50,000 + Package – Homebased covering Northern Home Counties – ID: 11681

Principal People are working with a well-established and consistently expanding Construction Health and Safety Consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor due to growth within the business. The role is to provide on-site health and safety support to a variety of clients and projects across Northern Home Counties.

This role has a great level of autonomy on a day-to-day basis, allowing you to manage your own diary giving you the flexibility to make work, work for you!

The role reports to the Director of Safety, alongside a growing team of Health and Safety Advisors and Trainers. The role will expose you to a wide variety of projects and environments, giving you the opportunity to further develop your health and safety knowledge and experience.

The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing risk assessments and method statements for clients.
  • Conducting site audits and site inspections for client sites.
  • Conducting and assisting with incident investigations when required.
  • Providing advice and support to clients around health and safety.
  • Carrying out fire risk assessments and environmental audits.
  • Building positive relationships with on-site teams and clients to drive forward a positive health and safety culture whilst delivering top-level health and safety services.

The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold as a minimum:

  • NEBOSH Construction / General or equivalent.
  • Experience in the construction industry or similar (Housebuild / Civils / Groundworks / new Build)
  • Be flexible to travel in a multisite capacity
  • Hold strong engagement abilities and build strong relationships with clients/stakeholders.

The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will receive:

  • Salary up to £50,000.
  • Company Car + Mileage.
