Are you an experienced Transport Planner with strong Paragon experience looking for your next challenge in a busy, high-performing transport operation?
We’re recruiting for a fast-paced distribution business in Slough seeking a confident and organised Transport Planner to join a high-volume transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving operational challenges, and has experience managing complex route planning within demanding logistics environments.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, cost-effective route planning, and exceptional service delivery across a large-scale operation.
The Role
- Plan and optimise routes using Paragon routing software
- Manage daily transport planning for a high-volume fleet operation
- Maximise vehicle utilisation while maintaining service levels
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouses, and operational teams
- Monitor route performance, KPIs, and planning efficiencies
- React quickly to operational changes and resolve planning issues proactively
- Support continuous improvement across transport operations
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and operational procedures
About You
- Proven experience as a Transport Planner within a busy logistics or distribution environment
- Strong working knowledge of Paragon is essential
- Experience planning within high-volume, fast-paced operations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Transport compliance knowledge beneficial
