Senior Quantity Surveyor
Working for an engineering contractor delivering works across Overhead Line frameworks within the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) distribution network, supporting the upgrade, refurbishment, and maintenance of overhead line infrastructure across multiple voltage levels within North Wales and the wider SPEN licence area.
Location: – Bangor
Day Rate: – £550 a day (Outside IR35)
Role Description:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with an engineering contractor delivering programmes of work across established Overhead Line frameworks within the SPEN distribution network. The programme covers the upgrade, refurbishment, and maintenance of overhead line infrastructure across North Wales, supporting long-term investment in network resilience, capacity, and performance.
Due to continued framework workload and a growing pipeline of secured works, they are looking to appoint an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of active and upcoming projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience within Quantity Surveying, ideally within power, utilities, or civil engineering environments
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts within a framework or infrastructure setting
- Experience working within utility or energy frameworks is highly advantageous
- Background in overhead line, power distribution, or wider T&D environments preferred
- Ability to independently manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost reporting, forecasting and change management
