We’re hiring a Product Technologist for a fast-growth jewellery, watches and gifting brand creating personalised, design-led products customers love.
This role is all about protecting product integrity — making sure every piece is safe, compliant, high quality and launch-ready across UK, EU, US and international markets.
You’ll own the technical detail behind the range: product testing, lab reports, supplier documentation, technical files, risk assessments, quality issues and compliance requirements across jewellery, watches, accessories, gifting and packaging.
You’ll be doing
- Managing product testing from development to launch
- Reviewing lab reports, declarations and compliance records
- Working with suppliers, manufacturers and testing labs
- Investigating quality issues and customer feedback trends
- Supporting packaging, sustainability and environmental compliance
- Embedding quality earlier in the product lifecycle
You’ll need
- Experience in Product Technology, QA, Compliance or Technical
- Background in jewellery, watches, accessories, gifting or consumer products
- Strong knowledge of product safety, testing and compliance
- Confidence working with suppliers and third-party labs
- Sharp attention to detail and strong stakeholder management
Knowledge of REACH, GPSR, CPSIA, Prop 65, packaging compliance, EPR, WEEE or batteries would be a strong plus.
