LV SWITCHGEAR ENGINEER – London Area UK
I’m currently supporting a leading provider within the critical power sector who are looking to add an LV Switchgear Engineer to their growing team.
This is a field-based role working across critical infrastructure sites throughout the South East, with occasional opportunities to support projects across Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
• Installation and maintenance of LV switchgear and associated equipment
• Control wiring and modifications
• Electrical testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting
• Supporting commissioning and maintenance activities
• Working closely with clients and project teams on-site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What we’re looking for:
• Experience working with LV switchgear systems
• Strong electrical installation background
• Control wiring experience
• Basic testing and fault-finding capabilities
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
