Data Quality & Compliance Coordinator
Location: London (hybrid, or fully remote a possibility); Type: Part-time, 24h/week; Reports to: Marketing Manager; Salary: £27,000-£30.000 FTE, pro-rated depending on experience
The role
You’ll own the health of BioInsights’ data. Day to day, that means keeping our records accurate, consistent and trustworthy across HubSpot, Monday.com and connected systems, ensuring gaps in the data are flagged and filled, and making sure how we handle that data is always compliant.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is meticulous and passionate about maintaining clean and complete data. You’ll set the standards, ensure those standards are maintained, and flag potential issues before they become a problem.
As we invest in richer, data-driven intelligence for our audience and clients, the quality of our data has become a strategic asset. This role will be a core part of ensuring our data are fit for purpose to drive this ambition.
Data quality
· Define and maintain data standards and naming conventions, and monitor our key datasets against them
· Proactively find and fix quality issues — duplicates, decay, stale or malformed records — rather than waiting to be asked
· Clean, deduplicate and standardise records across HubSpot, Monday.com and related platforms
· Prepare and process imports/exports and support accurate list pulls for marketing and client teams
· Report regularly on the health of our database and flag risks early
Data compliance
· Maintain GDPR housekeeping: suppression lists, opt-outs, consent records and data retention
· Help ensure our lawful basis for processing is clear and properly recorded
· Support handling of data subject requests and keep our data-handling practices audit-ready
· Keep simple, usable documentation (data dictionaries, “how we record X” rules) so quality and compliance don’t quietly erode
Working with the team
· Partner with our analyst/report builder to provide clean, analysis-ready data
What we’re looking forEssential
· Strong Excel skills and genuine comfort working with large, messy datasets
· Meticulous attention to detail and real patience for precise, repetitive work
· Experience with a CRM (HubSpot ideal; any CRM transferable)
· A clear grasp of why data quality and data protection matter — not just how
· Clear, confident communicator who can hold others to a standard
Desirable
· Working knowledge of UK GDPR/data protection principles
· Familiarity with Monday.com
Why join us
· A role with genuine ownership and visible impact — clean data is central to where the business is heading
· A small, expert team where your work is seen and matters
· Hybrid working or fully remote working a possibility
