Position: Senior Structural EngineerSalary: £55,000 – £60,000Location: Central London
The OpportunityAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and delivery of high-profile structural engineering projects, working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams.This position offers a clear pathway for career progression within a collaborative, forward-thinking consultancy that is actively redefining sustainable engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design on a variety of building projects from concept through to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors and developers to provide innovative engineering solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Attend client meetings and represent our client professionally.
- Contribute to sustainable design strategies and low-carbon engineering initiatives.
About YouEssential Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy.
- Strong design experience in steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
- Experience delivering projects independently.
Desirable
- Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or working towards chartership.
- Experience in refurbishment, adaptive reuse or sustainable design.
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit workflows.
