Senior Design Engineer
Role Overview
Our client are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to support technical delivery activities
across infrastructure projects within structural disciplines. This role will support engineering design, technical coordination and multidisciplinary delivery activities within contractor-led environments.
Main Responsibilities
• Support design development and technical delivery activities within the relevant
discipline.
• Undertake engineering calculations and technical assessments.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external designers.
• Participate in technical reviews and design coordination meetings.
• Support buildability and engineering risk review activities.
• Ensure compliance with CDM and engineering assurance requirements.
Candidate Requirements
• Degree qualified engineer in relevant discipline.
• Around 5+ years’ experience.
• Experience undertaking engineering calculations.
• UK infrastructure experience preferred.
• Working towards chartership.
• Experience within contractor-led or design and build environments beneficial.
