Simpson Judge is partnering with a leading international law firm seeking an ambitious Real Estate Finance Associate to join its established London team.
This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of high-value real estate finance transactions for an impressive client base, including lenders, investors, developers and sponsors across the UK and internationally.
The successful candidate will advise on complex acquisition financings, refinancings, investment financings and development finance matters across a variety of commercial real estate asset classes.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Advising on bilateral and syndicated real estate finance transactions.
- Acting on acquisition and refinancing facilities for commercial real estate assets.
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation and ancillary finance documents.
- Advising lenders and borrowers on investment and development finance structures.
- Managing transactions from inception through to completion.
- Working closely with colleagues across finance, real estate, corporate and tax teams.
- Supporting clients on domestic and cross-border transactions.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from England & Wales qualified solicitors with:
- Strong Real Estate Finance experience gained within a recognised law firm.
- Experience advising on acquisition and refinancing transactions.
- Familiarity with real estate security structures and finance documentation.
- Excellent drafting and transaction management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills.
- The ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Additional experience in syndicated lending, development finance, debt fund transactions or complex structured financings would be advantageous.
