Senior Corporate Counsel – High-Growth International Business (Fintech)

A leading, fast-scaling international business is looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its high-performing legal team in a broad, business-critical role.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely diverse in-house position, combining high-value transactional work with strategic advisory exposure across the organisation.

The role will involve:

• Leading on major corporate transactions including M&A, equity/debt financing and strategic investments
• Advising on a wide range of additional matters such as treasury, ESOP/incentive structures, governance, ESG and investor relations
• Supporting global expansion initiatives alongside regulatory colleagues
• Partnering closely with commercial teams on key client arrangements
• Managing external counsel and overseeing corporate governance processes

Candidate profile:

• 7+ PQE corporate lawyer (UK, US or other common law qualified)
• Strong training with a leading international law firm
• Significant experience advising on complex, cross-border transactions
• Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Keen to broaden beyond pure corporate into a wider strategic remit

Desirable:

• Experience in fintech or another high-growth, dynamic environment
• Prior in-house exposure or secondment
• Familiarity with private fundraising, ESOPs or broader corporate support areas
