Position Overview:

My client is seeking a 6PQE+ Co-Co Solicitor with a background working in a broad range of commercial matters, including M&As, corporate advisory, contracts, and corporate restructures. In this role, the successful candidate will join the small team, working on behalf of a range of clients including banks, small-medium sized businesses, HNW individuals, and international clients. There will also be a clear plan for becoming a Partner through this position as the successful candidate, so the role is well-fitted for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual. They will also work in collaboration with other teams in the office if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage deals and commercial matters autonomously.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in relation to Corporate matters.
  • Manage support staff.
  • Conduct legal research and analyse case law to support corporate strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s profile in the corporate sector.

Qualifications + Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate and Commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to corporate and commercial matters.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
