Legal Counsel – Insurance

I am hiring for a Legal Counsel with (re)insurance experience to join a well-regarded team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key duties will include:

• Support the Senior Legal Counsel in the day-to-day running of the OGC
• Advise on and negotiate (re)insurance agreements, including Client and Carrier TOBAs
• Review and negotiate commercial contracts (NDAs, SaaS/software agreements, MSAs, SOWs, leases, and more)
• Provide corporate legal support, including governance and Company Secretariat activities
• Act as a legal SME on strategic and cross-functional projects

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor with experience in (re)insurance or insurance broking (private practice or in-house) and a strong background in commercial contracts and general legal matters. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
