Project Manager – North West London

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of the landmark development in North West London.

The scheme comprises the construction of 130 Build-to-Rent apartments, with 50% affordable housing. The project includes extensive public realm improvements, landscaping, replacement parking provision, EV charging infrastructure and enhanced pedestrian connectivity to local transport.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

You will lead a multidisciplinary project team, manage client and consultant relationships, and ensure the scheme is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the new build residential project
  • Development and maintenance of the master construction programme
  • Leadership of site management, engineering and commercial teams
  • Management of subcontractor procurement and performance
  • Liaison with the client team, local authority stakeholders and consultant partners
  • Driving health, safety, environmental and quality performance across the project
  • Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Overseeing project reporting, cost control and financial performance
  • Ensuring successful commissioning, handover and defects management
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with local stakeholders and the wider community throughout the construction process

Requirements

  • Proven track record delivering residential or mixed-use developments as Project Manager for a Main Contractor or Developer
  • Experience managing projects valued in excess of £30m.
  • Strong understanding of reinforced concrete frame and residential construction methodologies.
  • Experience delivering high-quality apartment schemes in urban environments
  • Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
