Legal Counsel – Funds

A leading global investment manager, headquartered in the US, is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join its London legal team.

This is a broad, international role offering exposure to fund formation, product development, distribution arrangements, regulatory matters and strategic business initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting a growing global platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate fund formation documents, including LPAs, PPMs, side letters and subscription agreements.
• Advise on investment management, distribution and other commercial agreements.
• Support new product launches, market expansion and regulatory initiatives.
• Provide advice on asset management regulatory developments.
• Assist with corporate governance and wider legal projects across the business.

About You

• Qualified lawyer (E&W) with 3–5 years’ PQE.
• Experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house within asset management, banking, private credit or alternatives.
• Strong fund formation and asset management experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across jurisdictions in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Interest in legal technology and AI-enabled tools is advantageous.
