Finance Systems Analyst – Any UK Office – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our client, a leading legal services group.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and administer the Aderant Expert platform, ensuring stability and availability for finance usersInvestigate and resolve complex finance systems issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutionsDevelop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, and reporting solutionsWork with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver system improvements and process efficienciesSupport upgrades, testing, deployments, and integrations across finance systemsMaintain system interfaces and ensure data integrity across platformsProduce clear technical and process documentationSupport month-end and year-end finance processesAct as an escalation point for finance systems incidents and requestsContribute to finance systems projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Key ExperienceExperience in a Finance Systems Analyst or similar role within a legal or professional services environmentStrong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Aderant ExpertIn-depth knowledge of Aderant Expert database structures and table architectureAdvanced SQL skills, including query writing, stored procedures, troubleshooting, and optimisationExperience supporting finance operations and finance systems within legal or professional services firmsStrong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skillsExperience with reporting tools and data analysisAbility to manage competing priorities and work independentlyExperience with Aderant integrations and related finance applicationsKnowledge of SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting technologiesExposure to Elite, Intapp, or other legal technology platformsUnderstanding of law firm finance processes including billing, time recording, and matter accountingExperience supporting systems implementations or project delivery initiatives
