Forrest Road is one of Signature Group’s most exciting new openings, bringing together two distinct hospitality experiences under one roof.
At the front of the venue, a premium dining pub will sit at the heart of the offer, centred around a charcoal oven and focused on delivering elevated, fresh, food‐led experiences at a consistently high standard. This space will balance quality, pace and presentation, creating a warm and refined environment for guests.
Alongside this, a high‑energy sports bar will operate at the back of the venue, driving high‑volume trade and a bold, crowd‑pleasing offer, making Forrest Road a truly dynamic, multi‑concept site.
About the Role
As Deputy General Manager, you’ll lead the front‑of‑house operation of the premium dining pub, working closely with the General Manager to deliver exceptional, food‑led service.
You’ll take ownership of standards, team performance and guest experience, ensuring every detail, from product knowledge to service flow, is delivered consistently and to a high level.
This is an ideal role for someone from a strong restaurant or gastro pub background who is passionate about quality and guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 1–2 years’ experience in a management role within a premium dining pub or restaurant environment.
- Strong focus on food‑led service and guest experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team to deliver consistently high standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience managing service quality, team performance, and operational standards.
Desirable
- WSET Level 2 Award in Wines (or working towards it).
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and premium drinks service.
- Experience working with open kitchens or charcoal/wood‑fired concepts (advantageous but not essential).
