We are seeking an experienced M&E Bid Manager to lead and deliver high-quality tender submissions from initial opportunity through to contract award. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the full bid lifecycle, ensuring commercial competitiveness, and driving successful outcomes across Mechanical & Electrical projects.
You’ll act as a central interface between Sales, Operations, and senior leadership, ensuring all bids are compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with company strategy.

Salary: Depending on experience
Hours: Mon-Friday, 37.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full bid process from opportunity assessment through to submission and negotiation
Lead and coordinate estimating and bid teams to produce accurate, competitive tenders
Review and produce PQQs, tender responses, and technical submissions
Identify and assess new opportunities, advising on bid/no-bid decisions
Develop clear, compelling written proposals and client presentations
Manage tender portals and ensure all submissions meet client specifications and deadlines
Provide commercial insight and pricing strategy to maximise profitability
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
Analyse bid outcomes and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement
Support the development of pricing models, reporting tools, and best practice across the business
Lead cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Mobilisation, and Operations teams
About You
Proven experience in Bid Management within M&E or building services
Strong commercial awareness with experience in pricing and tender strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Strong leadership and team management capability
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel and Microsoft Office
