We’re looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) within our Client Group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering new investment solutions, working at the heart of product innovation within a leading UK asset manager.

About the role

  • Lead the delivery of new fund launches, including both UK and Irish/ EU domiciled UCITS and AIF structures
  • Manage significant product changes including fund mergers, closures and regulatory-driven updates
  • Oversee end-to-end product development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and in line with RLAM policies
  • Coordinate internal and external approvals, working with key stakeholders across the business
  • Interpret and advise the business on appropriate fund structures and features
  • Apply market, regulatory and product knowledge to support the design of client-centric investment solutions, including the application of consumer duty
  • Consider ESG and sustainability factors within product design and development.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support successful project delivery

About you

  • Proven experience in product development within asset management
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, particularly UK and Irish domiciled UCITS and AIFs
  • Broad knowledge of investment products across multiple asset classes: equity, fixed income, property, cash, multi-asset, private assets
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements including UCITS, AIFMD, COBS and COLL
  • Experience managing complex projects and delivering solutions to market
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Investment qualifications (e.g. IMC/IAQ) preferred.
