Medical Writer

About the Role

Costello Medical is looking for a Medical Writer to join our scientific team in Cambridge. You will be responsible for the development of high-quality scientific content across a range of therapeutic areas, supporting our global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and editing scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and posters for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Developing slide decks and educational materials for healthcare professionals.
• Conducting literature searches and data extraction to support evidence-based communications.
• Collaborating with internal project teams to ensure all deliverables meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of scientific accuracy and stylistic consistency across all projects.

Requirements

• A strong academic background in a life sciences discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex clinical data.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
