Service Engineer

We’re partnered with a growing company in the compressed air & vacuums market, based just north of London. They offer specialism in the sales, installation, and servicing of compressed air and vacuum systems and pride themselves on quality services.

Role Overview

Field Service Engineer will be responsible for servicing and maintaining compressed air and vacuum equipment across a variety of industries including Pharmaceuticals, Dentistry, Manufacturing, and Food & Beverage. The role will involve Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance, use of mechanical and electrical skills, sales assistance to increase brand awareness, and travel across Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining compressed air and vacuum equipment on customer sites across various industries.
• Responsible for service and maintenance on both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance basis.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance work using a mixture of mechanical and electrical skills.
• Assist with sales to increase brand awareness.
• Travel across Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London to carry out duties.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar engineering role, responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment.
• Licensed maintenance and field service engineers, whether on‑site or in the field, will be considered.
• Based or willing to permanently relocate within 1 hour of Hertford.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
