Are you an experienced Access Control or Security Systems Engineer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a professional and growing technology services provider. This is a customer-facing, field-based role requiring a reliable, self‑sufficient individual who can work independently across multiple client sites nationwide.

You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of access control and security systems, ensuring high standards of workmanship, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience installing and maintaining access control systems
• Strong fault‑finding and servicing experience within security systems
• Good understanding of basic networking (IP addressing, switches, configuration)
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and travel nationwide

Desirable

• Experience working with Paxton systems
• Experience with CCTV and intercom systems
• Structured cabling experience (CAT5/CAT6)
• Broader knowledge of access control and integrated security systems
