We are recruiting for a commercially driven, ambitious and relationship-focused Corporate Sales Manager. The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business and maximising revenue opportunities across the entire Mad Swans offering.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve ambitious sales and revenue targets across corporate events, accommodation, private events and the Topflight loyalty programme.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate clients, event agencies and business partners.
  • Promote and sell the Topflight loyalty programme to corporate organisations and individual guests.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations, proposals and packages tailored to client requirements.
  • Identify key decision‑makers and build relationships with prospective clients.
  • Conduct venue show‑rounds, presentations and client meetings to showcase the Mad Swans experience.
  • Convert enquiries and sales leads into confirmed bookings and memberships.
  • Maximise revenue through upselling experiences, accommodation, hospitality packages and loyalty programme benefits.
  • Build long‑term client relationships to secure repeat business, referrals and ongoing partnerships.
  • Represent Mad Swans at networking events, exhibitions, conferences and industry functions.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to support campaigns, partnerships and lead‑generation initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Produce regular sales forecasts, reports and business development updates.
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Support internal and external client entertainment activities, including events, showcases and taster sessions.
  • Ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations, delivering exceptional client experiences from enquiry through to event delivery.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Mad Swans brand at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven and successful sales professional with experience in corporate sales, business development, hospitality, events, memberships or loyalty programmes.
  • Experience delivering significant revenue targets and managing commercial budgets.
  • Results‑driven, commercially minded and motivated by achieving ambitious sales goals.
  • Comfortable launching, promoting and growing new products, services or membership propositions.
  • Highly effective at opening doors, creating opportunities and building strong sales pipelines.
  • Skilled at identifying decision‑makers and converting prospects into long‑term clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Confident building relationships and networking at all levels.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a standalone sales role.
  • Equally effective working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Positive, resilient and solutions‑focused.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving business environment.
  • Experience developing proposals, commercial agreements and bespoke client packages.

Location & Schedule

Full‑time permanent position based at Mad Swans in the Mendips, Marsh Lane, Farrington Gurney, Bristol, BS39 6TS. Work primarily Monday to Friday with flexibility for client events, networking opportunities and occasional evening or weekend functions. Travel to Mad Swans in the South Downs (between Farnham and Alton) on a regular basis is required.

Remuneration

On‑Target Earnings (OTE) of £60,000 per annum; base salary range £45,000–£50,000 per annum.
