Peer Support Coordinator
We’re looking for a Peer Support Coordinator who can spice things up—someone who can recruit, lead and inspire a team of Peer Support Mentors to help people at risk of homelessness find and keep a place to call home. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind a vibrant peer support offer—leading your team, shaping group activities, and creating opportunities that help clients build skills, connections, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, lead and inspire a team of Peer Support Mentors.
- Shape group activities and develop programmes designed to help clients build skills, connections, and independence.
- Deliver tenancy‑ready programmes and facilitate engaging drop‑ins and events.
- Build strong partnerships across the district and deliver person‑centred support that is empowering and impactful.
- Ensure every activity has purpose and that every person feels included.
Qualifications
- Experience working with vulnerable people with complex needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to encourage positive engagement and support people through challenging situations.
