Salary and Location
£17,400 per annum (£29,000 FTE)
Coram Campus, Bloomsbury, London (working from home 1 day a week possible if service needs allow)
About the Role
This role involves working on the Coram Voice Helpline as part of a small, friendly team supervising Helpline Volunteers to support children and young people to access our advocacy services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train Helpline Volunteers.
- Ensure volunteers provide support to children and young people in care, care leavers and other vulnerable groups.
- Maintain knowledge of children’s rights and entitlements within the care system.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver advocacy services.
Qualifications
- Experience of training and supervising others.
- Good understanding of rights and entitlements of children and young people in the care system.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
