Midday supervisor

Overview

Hours: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Pay: £14.00 per hour (including holiday pay)

Academics – an education recruitment agency – is currently recruiting for a Temporary Midday Supervisor to work in a welcoming primary school in the Barry area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a part-time position during the school day.

As a Midday Supervisor, your role will involve supervising children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing both in the dining hall and on the playground.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all pupils during school hours.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
• A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Academics).
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
